Janet has over twenty years of experience in the nursing industry, including seven years in hospital infection control and risk management. She has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northwestern State University, and is certified in Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing. Ms. Merrell has completed advanced courses in infection control, has been an active member of the Association of Professionals in Infection Control (APIC), and is a member of The American Society for Healthcare Risk Management (ASHRM).
