LHA Trust Funds hosts our annual Workplace Violence & Security Symposium to provide helpful information in planning for and responding to workplace violence. This year’s event highlights MD Anderson’s 2-stop program with practical advice on developing a threat management and threat mitigation program, CMS’ conditions of participation for violence and security, and a discussion on elopement, restraints and seclusion risks. Associate Vice President, Chief of Police & Chief Security Officer at the The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center
With 37 years in municipal and campus policing, William H. Adcox serves as Associate Vice President, Chief of Police and Chief Security Officer at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center and The University of Texas Health Science Center. Chief Adcox holds an MBA from the University of Texas at El Paso and is a graduate of the PERF’s Senior Management Institute for Police and the Wharton School ASIS Program for Security Executives.

Assistant Chief of Police, Converged Threat/Risk Protection & Investigations, UT Police at Houston
During her 32-year law enforcement career, Vicki King served 27 years with the Houston Police Department, rising to the rank of Assistant Chief. As chief of detectives, tactical support commander, and director of forensic services, she oversaw some of HPD’s highest profile cases. After retiring from HPD, Ms. King served as an emissary to the Saudi Royal family, adjunct professor for the University of Houston System and chief of police for the City of La Marque.

Hebert Law Center in 2015. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Louisiana State University, with honors, in 2012. Ms. Clark practices
