LHA Trust Funds hosts our annual Workplace Violence & Security Symposium to provide helpful information in planning for and responding to workplace violence. This year’s event highlights MD Anderson’s 2-stop program with practical advice on developing a threat management and threat mitigation program, CMS’ conditions of participation for violence and security, and a discussion on elopement, restraints and seclusion risks. Take advantage of this opportunity to network with industry experts at local, regional and national levels.

This program has been approved for a total of 5.25 contact hours of Continuing Education Credit toward fulfillment of the requirements of ASHRM designations of FASHRM (Fellow) and DFASHRM (Distinguished Fellow) and towards CPHRM renewal.
This program has been approved for a total of 5.5 nursing contact hours by the Louisiana Hospital Association for complete attendance of the program. The Louisiana Hospital Association is approved by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing – CE Provider #39.
This program has been approved for a total of 5.25 contact hours of Certified Healthcare Safety Professional (CHSP) by the International Board for Certification of Safety Managers for complete attendance of the program.
