The LHA Trust Funds are supportive of member hospital efforts to provide safe, quality care and want to facilitate an environment of learning from each other by sharing ideas. This webinar features two member hospitals who will discuss projects that have made a positive impact on care delivery at their organizations.

Geri Abadie, RN, Chief Quality Officer
St. James Parish Hospital
Geri Abadie, RN, is the Chief Quality Officer at St. James Parish Hospital. St. James Parish Hospital is a Critical Access Hospital in Lutcher, LA. Geri has 32 years’ experience at St. James Parish Hospital with 27 years in nurse leadership roles. Her current role includes Compliance, Patient Safety & Quality.
Cherry Beth Salter, Director of Nursing
Hardter Medical Center
Cherry Beth Salter has been a nurse since 1984. She received her BSN from Northwestern State University in 1996. An instructor at the Louisiana Technical College teaching LPN students nursing skills for eight years, Cherry has a host of clinical experience ranging from critical care to med/surg, primarily in emergency nursing. She served as Director of Nursing for a large long-term care facility. Cherry is now the Director of Nurses for Hardter Medical Center where she has been directly involved in the development and implementation of numerous successful patient safety programs including the stroke program.
